Hey there!I was reading WEB's latest letter to shareholders (yes, I own a number of BRK shares:-) and came across this statement: "There’s norule that you have to invest money where you’ve earned it."He, Buffett, doesn't speak against dividend reinvestment in the same company that it's from, only that there is "no rule" that says you must. Therefore, it is advisable to take dividends from a good company and invest them into companies with faster growth. I have done this numerous times and now my "guilty feeling" is erased. Thank you Warren!Rich (haywool)
In a market like now, I almost ALWAYS re-invest the dividend back into the stock that provided the cash. It's cost averaging on the cheap. Also smart, very smart.glh
