I've read all the bull posts and all the bear posts. And I keep coming back to one point in my own mind -- demographics. I'm in the middle of the baby boomer pack, and believe me, we're all staring at retirement in the next 10 to 15 years. That means those of us hwo can are saving all we can any way we can. Schwab is still ideally positioned to capture a good share of those dollars. The market's down and people are trading less? What's new? This market will turn sooner or later, and when it does, people will trade again. If that makes Scwab a cyclical stock, so be it.

I already owned shares of Schwab, and this past week I bought more, because I think this company provides a valuable service, and in the long-term will be rewarded once again. We'll see two years from now who's right.
