but definitely to not ignore the meal plan so I was well fed but didn't go out to any fast food places.

heh - watch out for the meal plan! The food served at my school was really bad. When the main cafeteria switched to "all you can eat" for dinners, the quote of the week in the school paper was, "Is it all you can eat, all you care to eat, or all you can stomach?" A friend of mine got sick her first Thanksgiving home - her body wasn't used to food with actual nutrients in it (and she wasn't one who lived on the fast food, either).

A lot of us from my school frequently ate at the school next door (which had a Subway in addition to the standard cafeteria, Pizza Hut, and Taco Bell that we had too). But their students were convinced our school had the better food, and frequently were found in our dining halls. And both were served by the same company.
