But do keep in mind that everything else being equal it's ENORMOUSLY EASIER to shed weight by working more on the EATING side of the equation than the EXERCISING side.

Here I will say that this is really not the case for everyone.
It may work for you, a man, losing 2.7 pounds/week*...but women are just different.
For me, exercising makes all the difference.
I can go days eating 500 calories/day, no fat and not make the weight changes in my body that regular exercise does.
