But is this surprising when we have a society that now celebrates kids finishing Kindergarten with a "graduation" ceremony?
=================================

I had a graduation ceremony from kindergarten in 1954. We had caps with tassles and everything. The hats were made from crepepaper for the cap part and construction paper for the flat part.

I had the cap and the graduation pictures until our house burnt in 2003. It's one of the things that my mom and then me saved.

When you are 5/6 it's pretty cool.
