But medical mistakes do happen (and obviously not just people in human hospitals) so that's why I think it's important for people to make sure they're always reading the documents they're given, even if they assume it's the same form as "last time". And don't be afraid to ask questions if you think you're just dropping your pet off for a bath but the form discusses euthanasia.I can't imagine a vet in our area ever letting people just drop off for euthanasia. Maybe it's because we have a vet school here, but most of our vets will counsel against it unless the animal is sick or injured and not likely to get better with treatment.I think the practice that did this needs a serious overhaul of their practices and an investigation by their state board.LWW
