But you do need to look at the "Help" into -- Bells and Whistles, Customize Your Posts.

AKAIK, you're allowed to use the following tags:
b and /b(for bold)
i and /i (for italics)
pre and /pre (for preformatted text)
tt and /tt (for that special font)
You should stick to the usual nesting rules.

Note that you aren't (yet) allowed to use "font" tags, "hr" or anything else fancy. And you can't build your own <a> tags -- you just put in the URL and the board software will supply the tags if it recognizes what you provided as an URL. "https" and "ftp", for example, don't qualify (last time I tried them) -- just http:// and www.

BTW, there is a trick to including a tag in a post without having it interpreted as a tag. If you "view source" of my previous post, you'll see how to use an extra (out of sequence) /i tag to do this. (I saw someone else use that in a post and copied it. I wouldn't expect it to work in all cases and forever, but here on the TMF boards it's currently a neat trick.)

I have had some strange results if I provide some tags, do a "Preview", and then do some editing. I think the safest way is to do a "Back", make your edits and do another "Preview", but you can play around with that for yourself -- on GMS or ZZZTest or somewhere.
