I see your point -- but the last time we saw a lawyer for this kind of thing, he charged us an arm and a leg and we could have done a better job of managing the money ourselves.I also don't know how you're going to transfer (the "T" in UTMA) your son's own assets to him.When the aforementioned lawyer did it, it was set up as a UTMA account.
