buy seriously, if you're not comfortable looking this stuff up yourself, you really should get an accountant. taxes on investments can get really complicated, and the brokers get it wrong pretty frequently. i have spent many quality hours on the phone with TD Ameritrade back office personnel correcting their tax reporting.


Since subscribing to Motley Fool and reading posts on the Hidden Gems board, I'm learning a lot about stocks, but I have a long way to go. Now, learning about taxes may take a while.
