Hi,I have been looking for a place to put some of my savings. I want something liquid that wont lock me up long term. Most short term CD rates have very low interest rates (around 2.5-3%) based on what I saw at www.bankrate.com (I do not know if the are reputable, but they seem so) and money market accounts seem to be even lower. But looking at Bonds they seem to be at about a 4% return rate. (www.savingsbonds.gov are lists series I-bonds at 4.4%) So would it be a good idea for me to put some of my savings into I-Bonds? Are there any drawbacks I should be aware of? Any advantages/disadvantages?? Any info on this topic would be much appredicatedThanks in advance avagias
