I have two seperate questions. My first question is that I want to buy a house for the first time using some of my ROTH IRA money, I know that I don't get penalized 10%, but do I get taxes taken out??

My second question is that in my ROTH IRA account, I have two mutual funds that I want to sell and then buy some stocks. Is this worthwile?? Will I potentially get hit with any penalties or taxed on capital gains??
