I am looking at a very nice used converson van.
The problem is trying to establish the value of the used vehicle. A 97 with over 37k is out of warrantee.
They are asking $22k for the thing. The autoworld
web site does not really show conversion vans and vans
of a full size have terrible value retention for the
first two years after new. The only thing I can find shows a regular van with full equipment. That value shows with high miles like this used van has as having
a loan value of only 1/2 of the asking price at the dealer. I have told them they are too high but it is a very clean unit. How do I establish a fair value for the van? It is a Chevy and the conversion package has leather, power everything, rear air and heat, CD, TV,
VCP and cassette. power rear seat/bed, everything. What is it worth?
