And you can also go thru ebates when redeeming your groupon at cafe press. :)

apropos using a Groupon through Ebates-- have you or anyone else ever done so successfully? I've tried once with a My Wines Direct Groupon, had the cash back credited to my account, then had it reversed, presumably when they realized I had used a Groupon for the purchase.

I've done it with a zazzle groupon.

I think it went thru OK.

Wow, that's annoying. I wouldn't stop attempting, though - it never hurts to try.

For the most part, i've had no problem getting cash back through either ebates or fatwallet. I did notice the other day on fatwallet some fine print that read something to the effect of "depending on the vendor's rules, coupons/vouchers may not be eligible for cash back".

Last year (pre-Groupon for me), i had a similar issue with ebates. I didn't get the cash back because i used some coupon code that negated it - and i had double-checked beforehand to see if that would happen but didn't find anything about it. I was pretty ticked off and now avoid ebates for that reason (plus a few others) unless their cash back or bonus offers are really compelling.

I don't have a problem with the rules; i just wish they were more up front about them before my purchase so i could check out other portals.

Oh, I'll never give up. The most annoying part was that the Ebates cash back would have covered my sales tax and then some, but alas.

Wacky portal story: I once bought some stuff from drugstore.com going through Discover for 10% cash back, but (accidentally) used my MC that was on file at drugstore.com. Discover still credited me the cash back. I kept waiting for them to reverse it, but they never did.
