last week, the Governator signed SB 1100 which authorizes a tax amnesty program in two successive months in the first half of 2005. No regs have been issued on administration of the program yet, but it is supposed to apply to under reporting and non reporting for any period ending before January 1, 2003. So stay tuned.Personally, I am wondering whether I will be able to get back the penalty I paid for 2002 (and if so whether this may open the door for refund of any prior penalties - which would sem to be the logical conclusion). Probably not; why would they give me amnesty when they already have my money?Anyway, just thought I would post this as some current info from the Golden State.
Hokey,Where did read this? I haven't heard of such a thing.Best regards,Duane
I just cruised the CA official web site and I see no mention SB 1100. Wus up?Best regards,Duane
