I recall seeing a tax calculator somewhere recently for comparing married filing separate vs. joint. Does anyone know where I can find such a thing?

Thanks,
Mike

Kiplinger TaxCut Deluxe has one in the tax planning area. I'm using it right now, because it shows I can save over $1500 on Federal Taxes. However, there is a caution about State Taxes possibly being higher??

You can use a computer program. 2nd Story Software lets you download a free one that's pretty good. (www.taxact.com) You can make estimates at www.quicken.com tax section.
