Call the credit reporting agencies IMMEDIATELY and place a Fraud Alert on her record. Then follow it up with written requests. The phone call activates the Fraud Alert, but I think it expires after 90 days. A written letter will allow you to place a "permanent" Fraud Alert on your record. This is what I recall from previous posts - someone please (as if they would hesitate!) correct me if I'm wrong.jrsmith13
