Yesterday and today I've gotten these automated calls in which a recording asks me to call 866 888 8943... yesterday it said "Card Services" and today it said "Card Processing Center"...

Yesterday I called out of curiosity, thinking maybe it was Citibank (the only people I have a credit card with) and they greeted me without mentioning a company name and asked me for my phone number. I asked who it was, and he asked for my phone number again. I said "What company is this?" and he said "Card Services." I said then no, you can't have my phone number and hung up.

That's not Citibank is it? I did recently convert my card to a rewards card, which makes me nervous that I am actually messing up on something. But i've activated and used that card, and been billed on it, so I don't -think- there's any more confirmation they need to do.

Mostly it just seems to me like some shady company trying to get me to give them my phone number so that they can legally start calling me after I registered for the Do Not Call registry.

Anyone have any idea what this is?
