I owned KAB for about 3 years in the early 90's and it never varied from about $3-4 without dividend. The financials have always been pretty good and they have always made money, but it just never was reflected in the share price.

So, in '95 I sold KAP from my IRA and bought KPP in the mid 20's and placed it in my taxable brokerage account. It also has not greatly appreciated in share value but has not lost agreat deal either and has paid a nice dividend (10%+) which has been partially sheltered since it's a limited partnership.
