Can I ask why you want to to Schutzhund training, with its protection training elements, as opposed to "regular" obedience training? Just curious.

My wife is a bit concerned when she is around the house alone. We bought a house in the suburbs this summer. Not that big of a deal, but the house sure makes alot more noises then our old apartment, and last August there was a little vandalism from some kids. Of course, our neighbors say stuff like that hasn't happened in the last twenty years, but it was only a month after we moved in. Since then, nothing has happened, and I guess the kids ended confessing up to the police. Anyway, the Schutzhund training was something that we came across that seemed like it might help her piece of mind, if I have to be away from the house for work or something.
