Here's a question I'm afraid I know the
answer to. I bought AOL at $76 and then
sold it at $126 for aprofit of
approximately $1500. I then bought back
the stock later that day for a profit
of around $300. Do I have to pay the full capital
gains on the $1500 even though I immediately bought the stock back or do I pay on the actual $300 in profit.
