I'd be very interested in seeing a distribution of performance of 1-5 star CAPS stocks over some time period. What I want to know is, if I buy just a sampling of 5-star stocks, maybe 30 of them, do I stand to match overall 5-star performance, or will the overall performance be dictated by a few lucky outliers that tripled or quadrupled, and in all likelihood, I don't own them in my batch of 30.
