I have a Samsung RC512 laptop. The DVD player doesn't play. In fact, the DVD is not shown on the 'Computer' site where I see the printer and where the DVD usually shows up when placed in the slide-out gizmo. I'm running Windows 7. I'm getting a Code 39 error when I start looking around for the device driver, which I can not find in 'All Programs' nor in 'Install/Uninstall Programs' menu. It seems like the computer does not know it has a built-in CD-DVD player.

I'm thinking it's a driver problem, but I can't find the driver to Uninstall/Reinstall.

I'd appreciate any advice on how to diagnose and remedy the problem. I've appreciated your help in the past, and will continue to do so.
