A relative of mine recently found some old stock certificates for a company called Century Savings Association of Kansas City that were purchased in 1978. There is no longer any company operating under that name but we believe it may have been acquired by another company. We're trying to determine if they are still worth anything. The transfer agent listed is First National Bank of Kansas City, which also no longer exists under that name, but we believe eventually became part of Bank of America after numerous mergers and acquisitions.

Does anyone has any insights on what happened to this company or whether or not this stock may still be worth something?
