CEO position would be given to Chris Galvin--the founder's grandson--he left. I had briefly worked for Chris years earlier. He was an incompetent disaster. "Shirtsleeves to shirtsleeves in 3 generations" was right on. He was hand marched up through the organization to CEO. At his first presentation to the annual "Executive & Professionals Briefing" he went on and on about how important inclusion and diversity was. Oh, and briefly mentioned in passing that product development was undoubtedly a good thing, too.

I spent some time out in AZ working for Motorola as a contractor and then later, after that division was sold to GD. Can't say I heard many good things about Chris.
