Things are looking up!

FRANKFURT -(Dow Jones)- The European Commission today granted regulatory approval for Levitra, a drug product for the treatment of erectile dysfunction, to Bayer HealthCare, a future subgroup of Bayer AG , and to Glaxo SmithKline Plc. (GSK)

Werner Wenning, Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer AG, regards today's licensing of Levitra as a significant factor to strengthen the pharmaceuticals business of Bayer HealthCare. "We welcome the European Commission's decision. This is an extremely important step for our pharmaceuticals business, as we believe that Levitra has the potential to become a new blockbuster," commented Werner Wenning on the decision from Brussels.
