This poor ignored little board needs a little more attention. Here's some recent good news -- there's a promising vaccine for cervical cancer:

http://www.arizonarepublic.com/news/articles/1121cervical21.html

<<An experimental vaccine designed to protect against the virus that causes virtually all cases of cervical cancer was completely effective in a study.

If the same results are found in a large, international study now under way, this finding could lead to the first human vaccine whose purpose is to prevent cancer.>>

I suppose the only related bad news is that most cancers aren't caused by viruses, so we shouldn't expect to see many more similar vaccines.

True, but it is a step in the right direction. Other research from my understanding relates to antioxidants and positive changes in lifestyle, may prevent other types of cancers. Bad foods and bad habits will and do show up in your body.
One simple lifestyle change can be how one deals with finance. The Foolish 13 steps have produced less & less stress and/or anxiety, a known cause of bad chemical reactions in the body, in my own life.
