Check out the Clones-Manfreud game from 4-13-2002 (I have it highlighted in red) He goes into a variation where he takes Clone's position, gives up both rooks, and mates.

I got royally crushed in that game. I thought I was doing well for a little while. When we played that game Manfreud hadn't played many games on the board yet and revealed his freaky DeepBluesque mind. :) I did learn not to give up piece development for material advantage, or at least not too much, or you get played like a cheap harmonica.

I'm out!

Night,
Clones
