Bravo. I checked your profile to see when you joined TMF and, since it appears that you're new, can I pass along a piece of advice? Enjoy the LBYM board but beware frequent attendance on other TMF boards (e.g. Foolish 401Ks, Retirement, etc.) where there seem to be lots of "Jones" with six and seven figure incomes and retirement pots trying to figure out how to avoid paying more taxes. It's easy to lose perspective around here and become dissatisfied with one's own real life (and debt or whatever).

I live in an affluent area where it seems builders don't even build homes less than 250K anymore, no one shows up at a soccer game without a latte, and everyone things pot luck probably has something to do with winning the lottery. Then I visit my in-laws out in the country and am reminded that people do live - quite contentedly - without food processors, coffee grinders, special luncheon plates, and motorized barbie-mobiles for their 4-yr. olds.

We're moving next week!
