Chris, Below is the reply I received after asking for specifics on what exactly it was I was being offered. I had asked for a bid proposal, offer sheet, contract, spec sheet, or web site that would delineate exactly what it was I was being asked to purchase. The reply:

I can't do this. What is available today, probably will not be available tomorrow. There is no contract, offer sheet, bid proposal. I can resend the first brochure explaining the CMO Remics. I am attaching another explanation of cash flow bonds, although it is not as detailed as the first brochure. The proposal is to buy 3 or 4 cash-flow CMO Remics that are giving around 5.5% in interest. Principal and interest begins returning to you the following month, and when the principal builds enough to reinvest, we would do that.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated, and that of any other perspicacious Fools.

In The Financial Wilderness, Aidendey
