Someone help me to regain some Christmas spirit, please! Hopefully I don't make someone else lose it after reading this dumpster story.

An acquaintance at work told me that her garbage man happened to check in a large covered personal dumpster in her neighborhood the other day (I guess it looked weird, too heavy for the mechanical lifter arm of his truck or something.) Inside was a covered box, in the box was a live puppy.

He went up to the house that the dumpster was in front of, but they said they didn't put it in there. The family took it in, but I'm thinking, what if they did put it in there? Wouldn't they just act dumb and dump it somewhere else?

I'm trying to think positively, thank goodness the puppy was alive, but geez! So much for Christmas charity...
