I got an unsolicited notice that I was being included in a class action law suit against Citibank for purposely delaying the recording of received payments for the purpose of getting more late fees.

I am sure others here have got this as well. It says the expected per person awards would be about $1.00.

Some questions.

Do actual victims of Citibanks alledged activity receive more than the average "potentially-threatened" customer?

What are the benefits/detriments of taking the steps to exclude oneself from the class action lawsuit?
