3 tips today are listed under "cleaning" -- even though that's not how I'd categorize them, here goes:Filling nail holes-Patch with a mixture of equal parts salt and starch. Add enough water for a smooth surface. (Add food color to match wall color.)-Or, fill hole with white toothpast.-On woodwork, Mix a little dry instant coffee with spackling paste or starch and water. Smooth with a damp cloth. Is your screw loose?-If the screw attaching an appliance to wall or ceiling has stripped the plaster and is no longer holding firm, saturate a cotton ball with Elmer's glue. Gently push the entire cotton ball into the hole. Allow to dry at least 24 hours and reinsert the screw gently with a screw driver.Disappearing past-ups-Hang posters and lightweight picutres on your kitchen walls with toothpaste. It's easy to clean off when you take the picture down and you won't have unnecessary nail holes.Tomorrow: the kitchen>^..^<
