Cliff,My husband and I are 56/54. We did a lot of research on how we would afford medical premiums. I would never be without them. Take a look at the REHP site. There is a lot of good information. The best plans are the ones offered to groups or employers. So if you can join a group that offers a medical plan, look into it.We were able to participate in my husband's old employee's plan. He had to remain on as a "consultant". But our premiums are the same as if the employer was paying for it. And it is a better plan then the one we were able to get for more money on our own.It is Blue Cross/Blue Shield. They have so many different plans. We find it very good. It even gives us 15 percent off our dental care.
