cmab72,Regarding your remark:You are forgetting that you get to depreciate the home at 3% a year ( which on a 250K loan is a $7500 write off)....I highly doubt that you're suppose to depreciate your primary residence. May want to check with the applicable IRS publication on your aggressive tax position.
