Has Ford gotten Sync/MyTouch working consistently and reliably yet? Frankly, as a retired engineer (industrial automation) I cringe when I see what's being stuck into the center of the dashboards of nearly all new cars. Beyond questions of reliability, I get the willies driving on a slick winter road knowing that the folks in their new cars, talking on the phone, may also stare at a touchscreen to adjust the defroster or the seat heater or to find their way. "Human factors" (what we called usability in caveman times) have truely taken the hindmost since I bought my '02.

Are there any uplifting reports of reliability from the field?
