I've watched NATR for many years now. After reading press releases and looking at their stock performance during a long period of time, NATR (Nature's Sunshine Products) does not seem like a wise investment decision for anyone concerned with real gains. It spells disaster. Most of their subsidiaries are unable to meet their budgets. Their Brazilian subsidiary, which was one of the best subsidiaries in the past, hasn't been able to meet its budget for a while. Their Argentine subsidiary remains open out of pity, it has never met its budget, and their Japanese subsidiary has not fostered any results so far. Their third-world subsidiaries are unhealthy due to the economic conditions in those countries. Unless NATR makes some major strategic changes, it might be only a matter of time before it will need to downsize.
