Good afternoon,

Reuters reported Gadzooks said today it expects to match or beat Wall Street's fiscal fourth-quarter earnings estimates as it posted a 0.3 percent increase in December same-store sales.

The company said extreme weather conditions in most of its major markets led to several store closings throughout the month, but a strong product mix helped merchandise margins increase by more than 200 basis points.

As a result, Gadzooks said it expects to meet or exceed analysts' consensus earnings estimates of 64 cents per share for the fourth quarter ending this month.

Best wishes,
