It really puts things in perspective to look at the Quicken charts for Pep Boys, AutoZone and DAP for 5yrs, 3yrs, 1yr, year to date, 3 month,and one week to see how the sector is doing and how the individual competitors are doing. Looking at just three at a time is manageable and also lets you look at the message boards for all three at the same time.
I guess the year-to-date shows just how (un)important a President can be in the short run. I'm an investor, not a trader, so it is very important to me. Having said that, I'm not in DAP at this time.

I personally am waiting for earnings which I believe are either tomorrow or Thursday. If they are bad, I doubt I will sell just yet. I'm going to give the entire economy a chance to turn around before I expect any individual company to do so.
