Occasionally I run across an article which points how outrageous are the spreads/commissions charged by many brokerage firms on bond trades. One recently tried to charge me 0.90% on 100 20-year treasury bonds. Does anyone use a broker which does not charge excessive spreads? Is there a website or publication which regularly compares the spreads/commissions charged by brokerage firms? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Tschurin
