I learned last year that I could drop 5 pounds just by regulating our restaurant budget. With 12-hour+ days at work, not only were we eating lunches out, but we were so tired after work that we ate out for most dinners as well. After making a conscious effort to at least cut back on the dinners out, I was able to drop almost 5 pounds without changing any of my other eating habits! Since restaurant portions are bigger and more calorie-laden, just eating at home was enough to lighten my load!
