Congratulations! Normally, acceptance letters go out April 1st. Or that's how it was last century when I rode off to college. My nephew has a friend at Tech and is loving it. There is a lot in Atlanta to explore as you are visiting your son. And as for rivalries, your son will soon bleed yellow and gold just as my nephew bleeds purple and white. It's just the nature of things as schools build identity and community.

Who thinks that going to college is about broadening your horizons and opening your mind, and that just may have to include becoming Braves and Falcons fans, at least for the next 4 years...
