I just retired effective 3/1/13 at age 56 and will not need to withdraw from my 401K for at least 8 years. I contributued as much as I was able through payroll deductions through Feb 2013 but that's not close to the 2013 maximum. Am I able to contribute the full year maximum directly to my 401k company?
