Cool. Agree 100% on Bettman.

Adam Oates was a coup for you guys. One of the *few* times Detroit's management made a mistake was giving you guys Adam Oates and Paul MacLean, for Bernie Federko and Tony McKegney. Good for Oates because there was no Yzerman in St Louis, and Oates therefore got ice-time and blossomed as a player.

Jacques Demers was coach there before Detroit. While his record is mixed, he's a man of heart and character and I revere him to this day.

I think you guys had Basil Mcrae for awhile too...a good goon :)

Sorry for Yzerman's double overtime goal in game 7 ;) He stole the puck from Gretzky to do it...way back when.
