Correct, that's what I meant..Berkshires stock loses half it's value ever decade or so, and it's very likely to do so again before a newborn today enters college, almost assured by the time the newborn graduates. Greed and fear have not been eliminated. Berkshire will get way over loved and hated..just like all other investments.

It's why we both believe its wise to scale back equity exposures in the mid teens years, I fully agree with your plan.
