Corus Bank offers a 1 yr CD paying 4.76 % APY

Not sure how big Corus Bank is, but I read an article that noted if there is a meltdown in the financial sector (due to worst case loan defaults, etc) the small regional banks would be affected the most.

Not trying to scare anyone, just what I have read. I recently just tried out treasurydirect.gov. It gives you close to 4% for 1 to 3 months bills, but these are exempt from state taxed. Which, depending on your tax bracket, essentially bumps up your returns above 4%. This is just another option.
