Hi Guys and girls,
My 1 st time posting here. not sure this is the right place for this question but i am sure you all will point out the right direction.

I was recently told my crawl space has some mold, some of the insulation is falling.
I have been reading about this. all the companies that do crawl space encapsulation speak highly of this. Of course they will do that, they need the business.

I was trying to get some impartial opinion on this.

I can get a handyman to replace the insulation and place new vapor barrier or spend about $7000 for crawl space insulation. is it really worth it in the long run.

My home is almost paid off; i am getting older and want to downsize. But selling a house with moisture problem and mold may be difficult and I do have allergy and asthma; so clearing this up is good if it really works as claimed.

I would love to hear from the experienced people
