Hi all! I have a Fool Visa card that I have had for about 2.5 years now. I almost always pay off the balance and am never late on a payment, so when I got a notice in the mail the other day that my raes were going to be raised, I called them up to ask why. They looked it over and said they would lock my current rate in and I would not be a part of the overall raising of rates.

Today, when I logged on to my account to make a payment, I noticed my credit limit had been raised from $9K to $11,500. When I first got the card, my limit was $2K, and it has been steadily raised ever since.

I am not worried I'll be tempted to spend more or anything like that, but I am curious if this high limit affects my credit rating, having that much credit available to me. What do you guys think?
