- if you are not familiar with #cutforbieber, it is/was a prank posted on Twitter by someone in 4chan (google is your friend if you don't get any of that)
I am appalled by the premise (even though I sometimes applaud 4chan's anarchy), but more appalled that some kids actually DID it. (over Justin Beiber of all people)

Which brings me to my mild vent of how to deal with early-teen cutting.
the (13) has 2 friend who are cutters. (one male/one female)
They seem to be "social/occasional" cutters and not chronic/weekly/regular cutters.
They cut to distract themselves from their problems (so they say)
the elf has already broken confidence by telling me.

I do not know these kids, he won't name them, so cannot notify parents/counselors - he is mostly a "listener"/voice of reason from somone with a stable home life.
I don't know if i can do anything other than offer guidance to him when he asks and urge that they seek help, or not.

Not even sure if i have a question, but there it is...
