While picking up our daughter from daycare last week, I spotted the most recent issue of "Chicago Parent". Normally I wouldn't give it a look, but it had this intriguing cover blurb:

"Illinois' first lady on her kids and yours"

Apparently it was too late to stop the print run, but I don't think too many parents are looking at Patti "hold up that f***ing Cubs s**t...f**k them" Blagojevich as a parental role model these days. Anyway, in light of recent events, I did enjoy the following quote:

"Twenty years from now, Blagojevich sees herself and the governor "retired, with a nest egg, traveling a lot." "I'm looking forward to the day he's not in politics," she says."

Anyone think she stands by that statement today? Ah, the irony....
