Danny, another thing to keep in mind is at your age, no matter what you do(Lump sum investing or dollar cost average investing), it will work out for you 40 to 50 years down the road. There are diffidently advantages with each, such as buying shares in the basement. But it would hurt quite a bit if you purchase them at all time highs and then they plummet!! Congratulations for jumping in so early and good luck!!!
